Coil Pots with Swirls

Fifth grade students created coil pots and built up the pot walls using by creating swirls.

Roll-A-Miro

These Joan Miro inspired works were created by a Roll-A-Miro game that was found on Pinterest. The second graders that created these loved it as did I because the game freed their minds to create anything as did Joan Miro.





Owl Babies

Kindergarten students created these owls by collaging newspaper and brown paper scraps onto a textured background that was created with a wax resist. Eyes, beaks and feet completed the owl babies.





Planting a Rainbow (tulip version)

Kindergarten students created these tulip gardens using a fork dipped in paint after listening to Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert.
