Snowmen at Night

Kindergarten students listened to the story Snowmen at Night and created these snowmen complete with "magic snow" in the background made from an oil resist.

Third grade students used Aboriginal symbols to create these works of art.



Still Life Painting

Fourth grade students drew these baskets of fruit from observation and completed them with tempera paint.

Kindergarten students listened to the story The Crayon Box that Talked and created a self portrait crayon.

Second grade students listened to the story The Magical Garden of Claude Monet and created a Waterlily landscape using the cool colors.

Winter Self Potraits

Second grade students drew self portraits in a winter wonderland.





Kandinsky's Circles

After viewing Kandinsky's Squares with Concentric Circles, first grade students used oil pastels to draw circles inside of circles and circles outside of circles in squares that were created by folding a paper. Students then used tempera cakes to paint the background.
